Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled online 24 hours a day through the patient portal. Patients may also leave a voicemail or send a text message to notify the provider of a cancellation or scheduling change at any time, day or night. Notice is considered given at the time the message is received.

If you are unable to attend your appointment due to illness, herbal medicine appointments may be conducted by telehealth when appropriate.

NOTICE REQUIREMENT

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.

ACUPUNCTURE APPOINTMENTS

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $90 fee, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

This fee will be waived if the appointment is rescheduled within 1 calendar week of the original appointment date and attended as scheduled. If the rescheduled appointment is canceled, rescheduled again, missed, or not completed within 1 calendar week of the original appointment date, the original cancellation fee will be charged.

FAMILY STYLE APPOINTMENTS

Family Style Appointments involve two or more people reserving multiple appointment times on the schedule.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee equal to 100% of the all scheduled appointment fees, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

This fee will be waived if all affected appointments are rescheduled within 1 calendar week of the original appointment date and attended as scheduled. If any rescheduled appointment is canceled, rescheduled again, missed, or not completed within 1 calendar week of the original appointment date, the original cancellation fee will be charged.

HERBAL MEDICINE APPOINTMENTS

Herbal medicine appointments may be converted to a telehealth appointment or rescheduled within 1 calendar week of the original appointment date.

If the appointment is not completed by telehealth or rescheduled and attended within 1 calendar week of the original appointment date, the missed appointment will be considered a service rendered and will be billed accordingly.

NO-SHOW APPOINTMENTS

Patients who fail to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will be subject to the applicable cancellation fee of 100% of treatment cost. Repeated late cancellations, no-shows, or appointment changes may require a credit card on file, deposit, or prepayment to reserve future appointments.
