Hello, I’m Ashley Sidell.

Like most of my patients, I too have struggled with chronic illness. I understand all too well the frustration, hopelessness, and above all, pain, that comes with living with an incurable condition. I have fought my way through specialist after specialist trying to understand what was happening to my body. Like so many of you, it not only affected my quality of life, it affected those around me too. With five children, a husband, and professional obligations, my illness paid a toll on the people I hold most dear.

I found my way into this medicine through my love of and interest in herbal medicine. What I didn't know when beginning this journey is how my own body would betray and fail me along my path. Many times I felt like giving up. But I wouldn't be here today, in the position I am, to help others just like me.

What I have learned through my personal experiences and battles with autoimmune and autonomic dysfunction is how to provide compassionate care. That was something I saw missing through every encounter I had with western medicine. It is something I will never compromise on for my patients. You will feel supported, validated, and above all, leave with a renewed sense of hope in medicine.
