The Florida Man Field Guide to Chinese Medicine was created to make Chinese medicine feel accessible instead of intimidating and confusing.

Rather than dense theory or weird jargon, it uses familiar language, everyday scenarios, and a distinctly Florida lens to explain how Chinese medicine understands the body, health, and balance.

Chinese medicine is often presented as either overly academic or overly mystical. Neither reflects how it’s actually practiced. I wrote this book to bridge that gap.

The Florida Man approach strips away unnecessary complexity while keeping the integrity of the medicine intact. It’s meant to meet people where they are: curious, skeptical, overwhelmed, or simply wanting things explained in plain language.
